John leverages over 30 years of experience in formal insolvency, restructuring, forensic and corporate recovery services, including contentious cross-border insolvencies, shareholder disputes, asset-tracing investigations and the realization of complex and illiquid assets. John has expertise in a variety of sectors, which include hospitality, shipping, hedge funds and energy.

Prior to joining Kroll, John served as Senior Managing Director and Head of the Corporate Finance and Restructuring practice at FTI Consulting in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). He has also previously worked at PWC for 20 years, both in the UK where he worked on the Lehman insolvencies and also spent a year on secondment at a major UK bank, and also in the BVI where he led the Restructuring team.

John holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Leeds University. He is a member of INSOL International and also the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Previously, John was also a licensed insolvency practitioner in the BVI.
