Anthony leverages over 18 years of experience in cost segregation, tangible property regulations, consultancy, structured finance, and machinery and equipment valuation to offer federal and state tax benefits to investors, developers and real estate owners across the U.S.

Prior to joining Kroll, Anthony served as the vice president at JLL Valuation and Advisory Services. Before that, he worked as a director of cost segregation at Marshall and Stevens. Anthony also has direct construction experience, having served as a project engineer for a general contractor.

Anthony began his career with Grant Thornton, where he handled cost segregation analyses, fixed asset studies for capitalization of tangible property, as well as opinions of value of machinery, equipment, vehicles, furniture, fixtures, land improvements and buildings. Anthony’s analyses are used for financial reporting (purchase price allocation), tax planning and reporting, grant applications, insurance placement, investment tax credit applications and property tax reporting purposes.

Anthony’s engagements consist of new construction, acquisitions and retroactive studies, including implementation of statistical analyses. The property types he has valued include auto dealerships, health care, hospitality and gaming, manufacturing and distribution, multifamily, office buildings, and renewable energy generation projects (solar, carbon capture, wind farms, geothermal, combined cycle and biomass), retail and storage.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering and technology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is an accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers for Machinery and Technical Specialties. He holds a B License as a general contractor for the state of California.
